DESCRIPTION:The Williamsburg Music Center presents a summer exhibition
  Hard Heart, July 17- Sept 25, 2009, an exhibition of works by members
  of the Urban Individualists an international artists collective. Wome
 n of the Urban Individualists dissect and examine aspects concerning t
 he heart, from the banal to the complex. Their works subvert expected 
 depictions. Not a typical show of hearts.\n\nThis exhibition includes 
 visual artworks by Helene Ruiz, Wahala Temi, Valerie Styles, Gloria Ho
 lwerda-Williams, Mia Hernandez, Mariam Muradian, and Helen Bascom.\n\n
 I will have 5 pieces showing in Brooklyn, New York USA at the Williams
 burg Music Center beginning 17 July through 25 September 2009. I am ho
